  2. Louis B. Mayer: Creator of the “star system” (as in “Movie Stars,” and second “M” in MGM.
  3. Marcus Loew: Formed Loews Theaters and later bought Metro pictures, which later became the first “M” in MGM.
  4. William Fox: Founder of Fox Film Corporation.
  5. Carl Laemmle: Founder of Universal Pictures.
  6. Adolph Zukor: Founder of Paramount Pictures.
  7. Harry Cohn: President and production director of Columbia Pictures.
